Let me introduce my self first, My Name is Hoopster good to be here.
Now am just new and had some exsperiance in adding plugins to a forum but i have tryed to add one or two my forum but not showing up, I am on 1.6.8 and the plugin i used this
http://mods.mybb.com/view/ajax-chat but can't see plugin or chatbox .

Is the plugin visible in the list of plugins? AdminCP -> Configuration -> Plugins

No the plugin was not visible, can't understand why. And thank's for the support so quick
Please ensure you're uploading the files to the correct directorys. You should be uploading the
contents inside AJAXChat to your forum root.

Silly ? but do i have to make a chatbox folder directory in the forum root
You should just need to upload the files inside of the directory "AJAXChat" to your forum root. What's your forum URL?

got the plugin, activated it but no chat box are they other settings i have missed out

Well, looking at the error he has to install MyBB. Maybe he is starting over.
