Hi!
I am the user with this problem and I think, it is no bogus.
After deleting the pre, tabs and spaces aren't displayed.
I followed the next offered workaround.
Tabs and spaces are displayed, but the blank lines are shown again.
My boardteam "repaired" it like this.

Test:c/p from attachment[attachment=4194]

test
	onetab
		twotabs
			threetabs
 onespace
  twospaces

Ok, on this board it doesn't work, too.

At last, one wish: please delete the included php-info file here.
My server-admin (hi!) will be very angry with me, when the "whole world" can look on our server-informations :/

tabs don't work in a post     spaces do though
   test 3 spaces
             test 10 spaces

OK, perhaps it was the wrong title of this thread, but with this "mistake" our problem has started.
It doesn't matter, if tabs in a post doesn't work.
Many users of our board are developers (not php-based) and don't like to use the colored php-code.
I translate the mouseover text "Insert formatted text" as follow: when I have a formatted text, I can insert it there an it will be shown as formatted as in the source.
If I misunderstood this feature, please make corrections.
