Are you talking about themes or what? If you are talking about themes, you can edit from from the Style & templates tab of the ACP.
yes i am talking about theme edit main file
finally i am get xml file of theme
Go to ACP -> Themes -> Select Theme -> Go to Export -> Export
Your Theme .xml File Will be Ready For Your backup theme all data & Editing any thing in theme !!!!
^ as Euan said, we can edit the html template and css style directly live from admin panel. no need to export and modify xml file
But its Best way for Backup theme Data !!!
