Has anyone had any experience with these? If so could you please share?

I'm talking specifically about:
https://learnable.com/sitepoint

I'm considering trying it out, but I wanted the advice from the moguls here at MyBB.

If this is not recommended, what type of book/resource would you recommend for a High School student interested in web development? It seems like the beginners e-books I have sampled are too basic and the harder ones are too fast paced. I'd personally like some sort of course, but my High School doesn't offer that. They are stuck in dreamweaver building poorly designed web pages with HTML.

Thanks all,

I found these very useful.

Maybe not the prettiest site around, but has good info and is free, with downloadable example files.

Thank you for sharing this site! So far I like it, I'll spend the day reading it Wink
Yes, homeandlearn is a nice site. I started learning vB using that site only as a source.
I've looked at sitepoint courses before. Basically if you like their books it will be great for you. The courses just give goals after each chapter (like a class) and a community to work along side with (plus the author for support of course).

So have you read the books before? Are they decent?
I think sitepoint has some pretty good books personally but everyone learns differently.
Sitepoint imho is the #1 webmaster site online. I've purchased their ebooks and have been a forum member for 8 years. Smile
I'm considering purchasing the sitepoint subscription or whatever, however I believe I'd also like some printed material. There's something about reading a physical book that just seems more appropriate sometimes. Thanks all for the help!
