hi, i have seen forums using multiple user groups, like 5 or 6 different user rank images under neath each other, i was wondering how to do this
You have to select additional usergroups for a user in: AdminCP > Users and Groups > Users > Edit the particular user > and CTRL + left click to select additional usergroups.

And if you want to display additional usergroups on profiles and postbits, you can use this plugin: http://mods.mybb.com/view/additional-usergroup-images
that plugin isnt working, and i cannot find any settings for it
Here's the exact plugin you are talking about http://www.mybbcentral.com/thread-3890.html

You need to be upgraded though to download that file, if you want a free one then use the one JovanJ posted. The setting should be in ACP>Configuration>Settings.
yeah it isnt cant you read?

Empirious, there is no need to be rude. You said you could not find the settings - kamz89 told you where to find them. If you want a better answer then you should take the time to make a clearer question.

Read the reviews for the plugin:

clearer question ok THERE IS NO SETTINGS FOR THE PLUGIN

as for in configuration > settings WHAT SETTING it doesn't have its own group and i looked through pretty much all of the rest so do you think you can give me a SUITABLE answer this time?
Have you checked if that plugin is compatible with 1.6.5 and above?

No need for the capitals (Or at least, you do need them on words which are usually capitalized).

Remember, it is you who needs the help, not me, and your hostile tone is not appreciated.

I downloaded the plugin from the mods site, it has no settings which explains why you cannot find them.

You do need to edit the plugin to be compatible for 1.6.5 - line 55 needs to read

function aui_post(&$post)

You have to have a primary usergroup set and displayed for the additional group images to display and of course you need usergroup images on your server.
thanks, took time but it works, sorry for attitude i have a short temper
Can this be done without a plugin?

Or, can I display all of the groups a user is in? Even with that simple ability, I could tweak it to replace names with images.
