Basically i don't want the search bar there, is there a actually URL so i can make a button and put it with the rest of the buttons? like make a "search button" and then click that which takes a user to a page they can conduct a search from?

Unsure what you're asking. Do you know basic html? I think you're asking about something very basic like making a button image link.

To do that you just edit the appropriate template (should be "header") with the correct html.

So simple when you think about it..
