When I click on a forum at
http://codingmarket.net it says hosting error.
Please help me fix this I've also lost the .htaccess that may be causing the problem
This happened to me once while using a free host as well. Not sure what was the problem. However, you can redownload the MyBB 1.6.8 package yet again and reupload the .htaccess.
Try upload the attached file into your forum root. Please ensure you rename it to .htaccess

did you put the cookie link right and the site links in the admin cp?

Cookie links being wrong would only break logging in, and site links would break the index too if wrong.
It seems like the OP's link is missing everything but index.php.
I think I'll just download mybb again and replace all of the files.
But I did an auto-install from my hosting panel.
Also the cookie links are fine I can log in.
There's something wrong with the links on your Index page, the rules and announcements is going to forum-2.html for example instead of codingmarket.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=2
What plugins do you have Installed?
I've only installed Tabbed Menu.
