This makes absolutely no sense. Sure, spambot IPs will generate traffic, but not the right kind of traffic. Would you rather have hundreds of legitimate users posting high-quality threads, or hundreds of bots plugging discount Viagra and Magento eCommerce in Australia? The latter has actually happened to me.

when you get paid per 1,000 impressions, it does not matter as long as the IP is from a country that gets counted.

lmao, You need a plugin that blocks spammy IP's also you can prune the banned spambots posts aswell... so I doubt you were hacked. just spammed.
