Do you mean to change the default cut off time for the online users? i.e. that part that says:
x users active in the past 15 minutes
If so you can do it at your Acp->Settings->Who's Online->Cut-off Time (mins). Change the 15 there to 24 and save the changes.

Exactly. I just want it to say 24 hours not 1440 minutes lol.

All you have to do after activating the plugin is go to:
ACP > Templates > Your theme > Index Page Templates > index_whosonline >
Delete all of the text, and press save.
ACP > Templates > Your theme > Index Page Templates > index_whosonline >
