Is possible to show additional groups but with letters (no images)?

Ok guys, i found this plug - ing: http://mods.mybb.com/view/additional-usergroup-images

But instead of showing images, i would like to display the additional images - groups (not the 1st one ofc) with letters.

Is there any way to edit the plug-in to do that?
