I'm unsure what your problem may be, it does work for me. Are you sure you editing the correct template in the correct template set?

That should be easy as plugin. I may create if I have free time, am too occupied by work these days, unfortunately.

I was going to say I would try to make this as well. Although crazy4cs has said that they will do it, I might still give it a go.

Just followed my own "tut" and it does works for me, are you sure it is the "index" template the one you are editing? It will not work if you put it inside any index_* template.

I have a feeling you do not have new thread subscriptions with new posts. This modification will replicate what the UCP does, the box will not be shown unless you have new "notifications".

Also any idea how add a message like: "Sorry, there are currently no unread posts within your subscriptions."

I've got the plugin with all the code but it is not working. I have got thread subscriptions with new posts. Can you help Omar?
