what if sombody took mybb and re-modded/re-worked it and claimed it as theres and distributed it?

what would mybb do to prevent this, i seen a few sites taking IPB v1 remaking it as theres.

Providing they stick to the license agreement (LGPL) they're free to do what they like with MyBB.

Forks are allowed. This thread seems oddly specific.
