Hi - I am wondering if anyone can suggest reasons that a task (Daily e-mail digest - a plugin being developed by Leefish) might not run, yet be logged as completing successfully on my forum?
The plugin definitely works on Leefish's v1.6.8 forum, but does nothing on my v1.6.8 forum www.nzarchitecture.net.nz
My forum does successfully send other mail to users - e.g. subscription notifications
Things I have considered are:
Needing an active user at the time a task is scheduled to run - as tasks apparently initiated by code in footer template. I tried ensuring I was active during time task was scheduled - and sure enough log reported task successful - but no digest email sent.
A damaged template footer script - but substituting vanilla footer script made no difference
Some theme related incompatibility - but trying other themes also made no difference.
Any thoughts or suggestions most welcome!
