Hi,

Currently my website is named "www.webdes.webatu.com/Upload" I want it to be www.webdes.webatu.com but if I go to this adress I come to some kind of serversided folder picker.

And I have tried to change the adress from the above to www.webdes.webatu.com by renaming the "Upload" folder in FileZilla(FTP) to public_html as the root in 000webhost. But when I did that my whole site kind of collapsed because of the database settings and the MyBB AC on my site. I have tried most of the things.

If you could kindly help me I would appreciate it alot!

1. Login to your admincp and make the changes to the url and cookie settings to reflect the new url. For example the board url would go from example.com/upload to example.com and the cookie path would go from /upload to / .Save the changes. After saving the changes, you might get logged out and might find the forum looses its theme, this is expected.

2. Login to your ftp and move all the mybb files to the root (public_html). Double check to make sure that the files/folders still have the proper chmods in their new locations. See this wiki for reference: http://wiki.mybb.com/index.php/CHMOD_Files

3. You should now be able to go to example.com and login and make sure everything works.

I have tried to go to go to your link and I have then pressed " How to CHMOD " and have been redirected to this link wich seems to be under maintenance.

Ah, sorry forgot to change the link. Make sure everything is chmoded good and you will not have any problem.
