Does anyone know what is the MyBB theme preview url? I searched the forum but had no luck.

There isn't such a feature yet. You can always install a theme and switch to it via your User CP.

The thing is, I have started to make MyBB themes and i was wondering about how to let the people preview them ..something like /index.php?theme=x in the url would have been helpful

You can upload your maked themes and tell me to see it like that they should go to UserCP and to change theme in Edit Options -> Board Style
Or to make few forums and to put in every forum different theme.
That's for live demo.

Or you can just make pictures and post them on forum.
