I did a forum search but did not find the answer I need.

I am trying to copy an existing forum and move it to a new forum on the same host. I generated the new database and used the backup from the existing forum.

It says it was successful but then it goes back to the main page and I am not logged in. When I go to register a new user from the front end it brings me to the site I copied it from. The two are still linked or something. Any advice?

Try solutions from that thread, i guess you have problems with cookies.
