So, I need to change color of a text... of some... not all.
I've spend aprox. 30 minutes in global.css and I wasn't able to find/fix this.

But you can try this ( given by leefish ).

Change the color in the body from #000; to #fff;

Bind the text in a class or id and define in css.

The HTML example:
<span id="othercolor">This is my other colored text</span>

The CSS example:
#othercolor {
color: #424426; /* Hash Value of the custom color */
}

OP said - not all text color.

It doesn't change everything, that's the thing. You'll find most of the text within the container id, so this is the quickest and most efficient way to change what he wants changed.

Just add a color element to the container.

Thats true, but it changes all texts out of container.
The example I've shown is for any specific text chunk ...

Anyways, I have one more question, and I'm not feeling like making another thread.

Why can't I change on.gif, off.gif and offlock.gif?
I mean, I've uploaded em via File Zilla, but they are still the same... default ones.

Did you upload them to the correct directory? Make sure they're like:

images/YOURTHEMENAME/on.gif

And so on. If you uploaded them to images and not the specific theme, they won't show up.

Still nothing.

The way Tecca stated is the absolute correct one.
Hard refresh (crtl+F5) and see what happens.
