Hi guys I'm new in MyBB and I'm coming from e107 so this is quite "hard" to understand for me.

My version is 1.6.8

And my problem is that I can't get to upload .xml theme files, this is the error that I get after trying it:

What I do is unzip the file in to my directory (im my case is mybb/*files here), go to import themes, I select the xml file and hit "import theme" adn then after waiting 2 sec i get that error.

Can I get some help with this? basically I can't upload any theme in the CP.

Take a look into your server log, it's something about that. Not MyBB related error.

But is there a way to upload themes without using the CP?

To be honest i don't think so there is another way.

Check your server error logs. An internal server error is very generic.

When I upload a .xml file via CP, what it does? or where is it uploaded? Maybe I can create a file or add the code there.
