There is presently no way to change the forum announcement icon. I'm tempted to go digging through the code and manually put in an image that I'd like to use. However, I know that is not advisable. This has to be about a five-minute plugin to code.
Any takers?
The existing Forum Announcement icon is a blank white piece of paper that says everything but "Look at me!" It would be better if it were an exclamation mark, or a different symbol, or even better could be customized.
