The last few days spammers are able to register on my forum. Every few hours a new spammer appears on the forum.

I use the Myb default captcha, the "Hidden CAPTCHA field" (I use email3 in the field), a plugin that ask for a security question ( http://mods.mybb.com/view/registration-s...y-question ) and also a register time plugin ( http://www.mybbsecurity.net/topic-register-time-v-1-1 ) but nothings seems to work.
What else can I do to avoid spammers registering?

Thanks in advance.
Same here, even though I'm using Registration security question plugin with new questions. I think human spammers are now in action.. :s

spammer in action now
This works for me, but don't use the Username setting: http://mods.mybb.com/view/stopforumspam-com-for-mybb
Have you tried Yumi's Spamalyser? That + registration security question has always worked for me. Make sure your registration questions aren't too easy too.
Do you have a link to this "Yumi's Spamalyser"?
Thanks Euantor but it's not what I'm lookin for. Spamalyser tries to detect spam posts (not spam registrations) but I need a effective plugin witch deny spammers to register on my forum......
What questions do you have set for registration security question?
I recently had a rash of spam registrations - I just changed my security question. With spamalyser in place though it does not stop spam registrations it DOES stop spammy posts from these new users.

I have my registered group set with minimal permissions - just about a step up from Guest with the right to make posts. So they post (or not) and I then can see from their posting behaviour if they are a spammer. After x amount of time users with no posts are pruned.

Of course, I have a very open policy on my board - the ONLY reason to join is to post, otherwise downloading files, viewing images etc is all open to guests. I think it will very much depend on how you want to run your board what strategy works best for you and your board.
