My forum is getting hundreds of spam embers and threads.

I have Registration Security Question plugin installed and all members must verify there email before getting access.

What else can I do? and why is this happening.

There truly is an inordinately high level of spam on all of my forums over the last few weeks.

I have many spam plugins and nothing seems to stop the power of xRumer.

Personally I use Security Questions on Registration and enter in random numbers/letters for the user to input, and also use Google's captcha system it everything gets blocked on my end. I would recommend those two things for you if you can't find any specific set of plugins to stop spam bots.
