Well, long story short my site got attacked today and for the last few days with all sort of attacks including Layer7, Spoofed UDP(7gb/s) and Spoofed SYN(542mb/s peaked) and now RUDY, I'm wondering if the rudy is targeting a possible exploit like the server has to reboot for them to gain access.

I keep getting 504 gateway timed out. I have 10gb/s UDP, 1million PPS syn protection.

A RUDY attack cannot give malicious users access to the server. It's simply a DoS attack.

If you have server access, you should take a look at mod_antiloris for Apache. I believe also mod_security may have some rules to help prevent RUDY/Slowloris attacks, but this is neither a MyBB issue nor something MyBB can prevent.

I figured out the fix using nginx.
