This may require a plugin but I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to redirect a user to the page they were currently on once they login/logout. It's frustrating that they get redirected to the index page each time.

It already redirect users to the referrer page by default, unless your login box or header_welcomeblock_guest template edited.
