Boy, a lot of people must feel really stupid now
How do we know the world hasn't ended? Maybe the world just shifted into an alternate reality where the world didn't end. Or maybe not...

Or, perhaps we are in a parallel universe and our partner universe died but we didn't.
Whirlpool had a thread like this, It got closed due to lack of the end of the world. May I suggest the same here.

Statistically it's quite possible we're living in a simulation because admittedly there's only one reality, whereas there can be infinite simulations of reality. Within those simulations it is perfectly feasible that more simulations exist, and so on and so forth. It is therefore very likely that our reality is one of the many simulations.

How can there only be on reality? Reality is relative to where you are. Not to mention theories with multiple dimensions be possible. Thus there would be a reality for each dimension that's different.
