I've just installed my new forum, starting from scratch.
I am currently carrying out some testing before inviting friends. I am facing an issue with[ [img] code. Simply no image shows up in posts. I just see the picture broken icon.
Also, embedding Youtube video does not work.
Please mind that I do not have any plugin installed.
I am running on latest version of myBB.

Any advise?

What's your site's URL? Do you have a test account?

just register with a test account you like. It is in italian language, but you should not have problems.

try to add attachments first and after post reply, then open attachments images and copy the url and add into image tag, im doing in this way to put images in posts

No, I do not want to enable attachments in my forum. I want to have images just uploaded from a website or an hosting service (like tinypic or whatever..)

I see an image fine. It is not uploaded, it is using the img tag.

I am an idiot.
For whatever reason when writing on the quick answer the img tag it did not work, but it worked perfectly when using the normal answer and clicking on the "insert picture" icon.

Issue fixed.
