I have FTP my new logo to /images/logo.gif, (calling it logo.gif, to replace the default logo) , still the default myBB logo is showing. Any ideas?
URL to your board?

Have you cleared your cache? Are you sure you overwrote the old logo?
Are you using Cloudflare? If so you'll need to purge the cache from your CF panel.

If not, try to do a hard refresh (SHIFT + F5) and see if it fixes the issue.
Yeah, cleared cache. Not using Cloudflare. I dont know, unless FTP is really not overwriting the default logo.

My URL is: ucadiatalk. com

Thanks for any help on this.
If the problem persists upload it as something different and then change the setting.
Admin CP -> Templates & Style -> Themes -> *Click on your theme* -> Logo -> *Logo URL*
This is frustrating, I uploaded the logo as logo.png then went to themes > default template > board logo

Put in there /images/logo.png, didn't work. I see the logo.png on the server using FTP (FireFTP)

Then tried putting the URL of the logo, ucadiatalk .com/images/logo.png

Still not showing .... should I chmod to a different permission? Just dont get it, Im using byethost free hosting if that matters
Use full logo path.

http://domain.com/images/logo.jpg

And this is 404 for me:
ucadiatalk .com/images/logo.png

I put a space on purpose between the domain name and the .com
Are you typing the right url? Check it this way: ucadiatalk (dot) com
http://domain.com/images/logo.jpg

ucadiatalk .com/images/logo.png

Gents, I'm going to put this problem on hold, it is on my end. Let's put this on hold and when I correct what I think it was I'll post back.

I thought it was my internet connection, but thats not it. I STILL don't see it. I am really frustrated over this. I would be happy to PM someone my login info that can please go in and have a look. I am really frustrated. Here is the URL to the logo that keeps showing up:

http://ucadiatalk.com/images/logo.gif

When I look at what I FTPed, it shows the logo that SHOULD be showing.

It has to be the host, byethost that is blocking the logo file from being uploaded. Having to host the freakin logo on a photobucket site.

force an reload of your page by clicking on the circular arrow in your address bar that usually works when I encouter that problem with changes in my site.
The problem may be that bytethost is not actually showing your image but rather an ad page...

This is why free hosts are not recommended.
