The problem with these stats are these are extremely old statistics and this board software somehow haven't updated them since. For example, our Video Game Thread shows 16 replies under the "Most Popular..." portion when in reality the thread has 90 replies. Why is this problem occurring?

Try recount & rebuilding the statistics:

Navigate to AdminCP -> Tools & Maintenance -> Recount & Rebuild -> Recount Statistics

Unfortunately that didn't fix the problem. I have tried it several times however.

Try to clear our your browser cache after doing that, since in most cases it will be your browser's cache as well causing the issue. Normally mine doesn't update for a few hours (or sometimes a day or two) but it doesn't really bother me that much.
