I just realised that I couldn't use PNG Avatars on MyBB Forum.
Is there a way of allowing PNG avatars to be used instead of JPG?

Can you elaborate? Why can't you use PNG avatars? Any errors?
Do you get any kind of error when trying to use a PNG or anything?
EDIT: I should refresh after leaving a page open. Ninja'd by Nathan again.
When I try to upload a PNG avatar or use a remote URL, it says that the extension is invalid.
Please post here the avatar you are trying to use.
The avatar is the same avatar I'm wearing ATM.
Do you have .png set as an allowed attachment type?

Where do I have to set it?
I have no idea if it has any bearing on the issue, not tested, but check in the ACP
Configuration >> Attachment Types
Make sure .png is an allowed type.
