Hello all,
I have a question re: send no cache headers in MyBB. If I do not enable this feature, does that mean visitors to my site need to refresh? If that's the case then why is it even an option? I'm having a hard time understanding the whole cache idea. I understand a proxy can cache and I know the visitors browser does for the most part, but does it really cache everything unless this is turned on?

Sorry for my dumb question Angel

Thanks in advance!
It depends on whether your webserver does the right thing by default or not. PHP is dynamic by nature so it shouldn't be cached. It usually isn't, but some webservers are configured to allow caching, in which case you need to send no-cache headers to prevent just that from happening...
Thanks for that it's appreciated! Smile
