And to answer your question. MyBB doesn't support images for prefixes. I haven't seen a plugin to do that but it might exist somewhere. I just haven't seen it.

It may sound crazy, but what about adding your HTML code in the "Display Style" input box? I know, totally crazy idea.

BTW, it doesn't look to me they to be using images, just styling prefixes and formatting them with CSS.

Use HTML code. It does work.
