Did you just jump to google and searched for the first plugin with similar keywords to this? If you have really tested or used both plugins you have had noticed both plugins are not too similar as it seems you believe.

I wasn't spamming. I always knew it was there.

He can make any plugin he likes.

To be honest, when I saw your first response I thought - well, I see what he is trying to say, but a bit of courtesy would have helped.

It would have cost you a minute more to say "Hey Omar, there is already a plugin very similar to this, can I ask why you made this version?"

But you didn't.

You just dropped a link and wandered off. If you wanted to ask why he bothered, then why didn't you ask then?

Throwing unrelated (or not to) links with not single lines of comments, is considered as spam. If you don't agree, right, but lets avoid unnecessary arguments.

For similar reasons I did code Awards, Custom Reputation, Profile Comments, Signature Control, etc. Personal preferences, plugin too outdated to be worth updating them myself, current ones not fitting my requirements, etc.

For this specific plugin, I wanted to be able to use external or internal image paths (common in my plugins) and coded it a long time ago when I was learning.

You will know developers do code what they want to, regardless of it being necessary or helpful, anyways.

v1.8 Released

The plug-in is now compatible with MyBB 1.8. Backwards compatibility was kept but will most likely be removed on next update (1.8.1).

Removed some debug code. Simply uplaod new files.
