I don't use Facebook much at all, and someone I barely remember just "poked" me.
* Is she saying "Hi" without bothering to send a real message?
* ...or checking if I'm married?
* ...or selling life insurance?

Have you ever been "poked" on Facebook?
Do you actually use FB much? Why?
What do you really like about Facebook?

Feels like I'm being sent a Facebook survey in the post or something.

Yes from my experience of being poked it is normally from life insurance salesmen.

It's just a poke. Like a "What's Up?"

But depends also, because me and my friend where poking each other back and forth for months as a joke.

It can be great to find old friends, but FB also seems like a big waste of time.

Not sure if I'll ever spend much time on FB, or why so many others do.
