I've searched and search for this and have found no definitive solution answer to for it. On my forum (1.6.9) when reading new post, read post still show up when you click the view new post or getnew function. I use to once read they automatically are mark read and no longer show up for new post. On other software it was usually a setting I overlooked, and figure the same here, but I've not found a setting for it.

Any help will be appreciated its starting to get annoying and users complaining about it.

Oh and with Tapatalk they get marked/cleared and then dont show up when you login on a pc.
