I have the maximum avatar dimensions set to 175X175. I also have the auto resize feature set to optional. When I go to upload my avatar, I uncheck the box that asks if I want to resize, and I upload it.

But when I right click and go to the image source, it displays the avatar at it's appropriate size.

How to fix?

Try disabling avatar resizing altogether.

In your ACP, in settings

Show Thread Options
Maximum Avatar Dimensions in Posts
The maximum dimensions for avatars when being displayed in a post. If an avatar is too large, it will automatically be scaled down.

Set that to the size you want for posts. Default is 70 by 70.
