Hello guys,
I hope you can recommend any work around on this idea that I have.
Basically, I need a very limited point system feature. When a user creates a thread (on a specific board only), the user gets specific points. Then another point when replying to that thread.
Other users may "like" or "dislike" the replies in the thread but their points get deducted every time they do that. They can specifically provide the number of points they want to give in return to "liking" or "disliking" a reply. For example, Bob wants to give Mary's reply with a like score of 9. While Joe gives Mary's reply with a dislike score of 4.
Each user may only spend 10 points per day, either to like or dislike a post.
I'm thinking of using NewPoints and a good like/dislike plugin. I can code if needed. However, if you guys have better solution, feel free to reply.
