I didn't see the need for this at first and turned it off, not wanting to lose users. But I have slews of people joining and not posting, but putting links in their profiles. Also, joining and not activating. And I'm getting tired of dealing with a long member list for no good reason. So I turned it on. Cleaned things up like a charm.
I've not used this yet. I might soon though, seems like a nice feature.
It is nice, but it is lacking any hooks to modify the list of users before they are pruned. It would be nice in order to add or remove users from the prune list based on criteria outside the default tests
I did make that suggestion for 1.8 but I am not sure if it will happen.

That is pretty much it, though $task is as well passed as reference.
It does have some errors I can confirm that. I have had some accounts get deleted that have had 2 or more posts when I had set it to prune users with a post count of 1 or less. I ended up disabling it because I didn't want to deal with figuring out where the problem was.
User pruning has some flaws and I would like some more additions to it. Currently, it's not checking for additional groups. I made a thread about it in suggestions forum.
If you don't mind I will look into it just now.
