I am interested in starting my forum using myBB but I don't really understand. I know this sounds really stupid but, I have downloaded the core package but where to I go from here?

You'll need a domain and web hosting. If you can't afford that, Google free MyBB hosts :-)

MyBB is forum software that runs on a hosted server. That hosted server can be a free shared host or some low-budget host which will cost about $5-$10 a month. You will need a domain as well which costs about $10 a year to register.

1. Register a domain.
2. Pay for a host.
3. Install MyBB software.
