How do you set an editing window time limit in MyBB so members can't edit their posts after a specified time limit?

ACP -> Board Settings -> Change -> Posting

Find 'Edit Time Limit' and fill in your desired value.

Is that setting available in MyBB 1.1.7 because I did not see it ?

We are going to update to the new version I hope tomorrow!

Yes, the edit time limit is a standard feature in 1.2.x.
