Can someone tell me what is the solution for this.
Now it says "1040 - Too many connections". My site reach around 1000 visitors per day

Ask your host. The error exactly says what the problem is. It means that for that particular time, your site (as in server) has already reached the maximum number of connections (which is set by your host).

I encountered the same error while my host capacity was much higher. then i applied used firewall which detected that i had several botnet zombie attacks. so it may happen aswell if your host is working fine.

This is an easy fix... a lot of NEWER hosts have better servers with lots of peeps on them so go to ADMIN CP>>Configuration>>Settings>>Server and Optimization Options
and set *NIX Load Limiting to 0 to disable it.
See if that works... Chances are it will.
I really doubt you're being Botnet attacked... it's just a NIX limiting issue because your host is awesome... lol.
