I don't understand what's wrong with my forum.

I can access a page like forumplace.net/misc?page=bans but I cannot access /index.php nor the admin index.

What's wrong with it?

What's the URL of your forum?

Upload a new copy of index.php, and check the chmod permissions.

Check if you have uploaded index.php in your forum root. Also check if it is default, if not upload one from MybBB package.
