I would like to change most of the images to .png but having trouble finding them in the templates

1. Smilies
2. Post Icons

I think i found the smiles in database and i changed .gif to .png but it did noting and posticons in functions.php but can not find where to add .png

could some one please help?

Have you tried rebuilding the smiley cache yet? Its under the Admin CP under Tools & Maintenance.

No rebuilding the smiley cache did not work there must be some where else to change it

ACP > Configuration

You can find both the posticons and smilies there.

Thank you I was looking for something that was more complex then it really was

I guess it just would have been easier to check the acp configuration before the templates and core php files

I just assumed it be in a template
