I agree a favicon would be nice for the MyBB Site :]
for mybb yes, but don't include it in the version the users download, it's annoying when I always have to go remove the favicons from software.
Yeh, just for the site itself.
it should have been done by now.
We the staff can't do anything about it, seek for higher grounds for that.

This shouldn't be built-in. Anyone with a drop of knowledge knows how to add their own favicon and if it were to come packaged in, anyone with any sort of sense to them would just overwrite it with their own personalized favicon.
