Clear your browser's cache and delete its cookies. Make a hard refresh like CTRL + F5
Do as Yaldaram said and if you are using Cloudflare then it can take some time to update. By default, the setting on Cloudflare is 2 hours.

It shouldn't be a problem. It could be that your theme has a background colour set in two places. Can you provide a link please?

Just for information, old versions of Chrome has cache issues. Try to upgrade your Chrome version.
