my idea for 2.0 is to put meta oG tags.... just this:

<meta property="og:title" content="Thread Title - Forum name" />
<meta property="og:description" content="Some charsets from 1st post - Description of forum" />
<meta property="og:url" content="Current URL" />
<meta property="og:image" content="150x150 editable logo" />

On Facebook (and other socials), it will display it like this:



What do you think?

Not by default no. Not everyone wants their site associated with facebook. If anything I don't see most meta things being default in 2.0 since they aren't really used for anything anymore.
