Basically my issue is that when I make threads, the text box with all the options is gone on BOTH my default theme and my new theme. Any suggestions on how to recover this?

Re-upload the theme. What did you change to make it happen in the first place?

We had an editor fix the theme up a bit and I'm unsure of what to do.
do you use CloudFlare? as many of use have found that "Rocket Loader" is the problem once I turned that off all the options on the post thread/reply came back.
