By default an email is send to the user, is possible to send a PM instead of the mail?

Not without a plugin.
I would suggest installing MyAlerts - its not a PM but its an excellent central notification system for new replies and many other things.

Thank you Kodacs, I'll try your suggested plugin as soon as I can. I saw in the sample- image of MyAlerts that a notification is sent in various cases but not in mine, in thread subscription. Are you using this plugin? Could you guarantee this will work for me?
