how to backup everything from forum like plugins post threads setting edited templetes etc.
how to do that
i want to install this in another new mybb 1.6.9 forum. Can i got everything by this backup?
Go to ACP -> Tools & Maintance -> Database Backups -> New Backup
Here you have to press the Select All button so you will see all the mybb coloumns get selected.
From here you have to make sure that the Save Method is Download (download it and put it somewhere you can find it again) and the Backup Content must be structure and data.
Now when you have a full backup from all your files + this backup you can get it exactly the same. But be assured. When you are planning on changing to a new webhost or website url you will have to make a few changes to make it work again.
what changes i have to do.
if it possible to upgrade 168 to 169 without deleting any files. Pls giv me the trick.
