How can I get users to select their own colour for their username and choose their own motto/status that comes near their avatar?

User titles?

Users & Groups -> Groups -> Registered -> Permissions -> Miscellaneous -> Can set custom user titles? -> Yes

I ment as like a status

They cannot choose their own color but user titles is what your after. You can manually set the color via admin panel. ACP / users and groups / group xyz / username style

I already know how to do that but I wanted to know if they was a way for a user to choose their own username colour via a plugin from their plugin but I see their isn't a way.
