Hi there,
I am looking for a forum to use with my site.
- I must host it my self
- no ads may be on it
- must have good moderator system
- must be able to work with a chat room on the same mySQL
- must be able to skin to look like my site
These are just a few items I need
At the moment we are using Proboards
but, we must move on and host it ourselfs
to meet the main UAW's rules for a Local to have a web site
I downloaded phpBB & instaled it
however you can not center or many other things
with-out installing many other mods to it
can someone tell me how this BB's admin is ?
and how easy it is to skin this BB . . .

I'm new to mybb. I used phpBB2 (worst skinning ever), IPB, ikonboard, snitz, and this is the easiset I've tried. If you need help making the skin looking like your site style, ask me. I am really satisfied with mybb.
mybb has everything you pointed above, except of Mod CP because it is not done yet, but it will be i think, however moderators can operate, just they don't have a link to mod cp

Yes you will have to host it yourself.

I would say what we have is pretty good, compared to phpBB 2.

You'll need a modification for a chat room. We don't provide one.

You can easily skin the forum to match your site using the theme and template editors.

OK,
Downloaded and installed
Just got done looking throught the admin section.
I knew that a new BB then the one I was use to would be a lot of fun
just was hoping that I would not need to spend alot of time
to make it look somewhat like my site or the one we are using now.
I just got done with the e-mail system of the site,
but still must work on the content manage system & the admin.uaw1183.com
and about 15 pages for many other sections of our Union
