You won't get a free domain, other than .co.cc or .tk.

You don't need a free domain, you can get one with minimum wage. Free web hosts are a little less impossible but they all have ridiculous limits, go for a
SaaS like WordPress.com for a nicer free experience.
Hosting can also be had on minimum wage.

Yeah but I was going for as cheap as possible. Site5 is like $5/mo which is only a little more than hourly illegal alien wage.
Free & "Big Performance" doesn't go together. All free services are very limited with resources.

1&1 sucks. I used to frequent a big board hosted with them. Apparently they have a hard restrictio on database size as as soon as the DB hit 100MB, SQL errors everywhere.
